This is a Calming and meditative piece for solo flute. Of all the pieces I’ve made this is one of my favorites.

I write most of my flute pieces by creating one to five themes or motifs then create variations on them. I never write down the piece itself rather I place my list of themes, motifs and variation in front of me and them improvise off of them. I usually have a complex chord droning in the background. Almost every flute piece I make is created this way.
