a song done by many folk/country performers ,chokes me up every time. there are much better renditions of it out there in music land,buy those!. this I just wanted to add to my list of occupy songs. to drive home the point.

This reflects what I think the dust bowl poet may have said in the current housing market.

It's what is referred to as the GRIT in your belly, that is fueling the Occupy movement we the people have always had this character and resilience .

The hard times of the 99% is all over, and it's time the people who put us all in this mess be called out ,and have their stink be put in the street.

In the end its all down to you and me.

Like anyone who happens to look, I see the signs of a failing economy all over the Country. This song is a effort to encourage folks to struggle for a more open and equitable system for the financial benefit of all of us.

This old civil war song, calls to mind the needless slaughter and stark inequity of wars.

I wrote this song, in hopes of drawing attention for the need to get better hourly wages for Americas working poor.

Just one dollar an hour raise, for every hourly worker in this country. Would completely fix most all of the financial trouble we are now experiencing . As long as the 'powers that be' hold prices at neutral for the next couple years.
