Vial (the entrance)

I composed this for a film I wrote, directed and acted in of the same name. It’s about a dude who comes back to collect his stuff from a house he rented except the landlady is a chainsaw wielding witch and not happy he moved out so soon. I was very much influenced by the taiko drums in the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack when putting this together. I also wanted to emulate the Halloween theme and probably some of the music in Alien, with that descending melody. Also I wanted a purely digital track on the album as I’m aware that my recordings sound a bit shit/messy as I’m recording audio with low quality equipment. I wanted that polish/digital sheen that people demand so much of these days, just to demonstrate how a song could sound if I had studio equipment. Admittedly though, this track is a bit filler-ish but it’s part of the Vial ensemble as soundtrack music. Probably shouldn’t have put it on Sellout though.
