Empty Streets Lonely Heart
Carla & Paul aka Butterfly Division
The city hums a quiet tune,
Neon lights reflect the moon.
Footsteps echo, all alone,
Searching for a love unknown.
Every window tells a tale,
Of hearts entwined or dreams that failed.
But here I walk with hollow eyes,
Chasing ghosts in midnight skies.
Oh, empty streets and lonely heart,
Drifting through the dark,
Hoping love will light a spark,
Somewhere in these empty streets.
Shadows stretch along the way,
Memories whisper, beg me to stay.
But love is hiding, out of sight,
Like a dream lost in the night.
Every window tells a tale,
Of hearts entwined or dreams that failed.
But here I walk with hollow eyes,
Chasing ghosts in midnight skies.
Oh, empty streets and lonely heart,
Drifting through the dark,
Hoping love will light a spark,
Somewhere in these empty streets.
Maybe love’s a distant star,
Shining bright but just too far.
Maybe I should turn around,
But I keep searching, heart unbound.
The city hums, but I still roam,
A lonely boy without a home.
Hoping love will call my name,
And end this never-ending game.
