Goetic Demons
West Wynd
I swear I’ll be good this time just give me one more chance. No whiskey drinking in my room and no doing the robo dance. I want to be sober and live a life that’s clean besides tobacco and way too much caffeine.
Chorus
Goetic demons, necromancy and building Frankensteins or would you prefer the beer, cough syrup and little hobo wines? Should I stay up all night, eyese bugging out my head or invoke demons, make voodoo dolls and try to raise the dead?
Don’t mind the demon voices that wake you late at night. Ignore the black candles, the blood and pagan signs. Alistair Crowley’s books aren’t all that dangerous. And when the walls bleed you can say “at least he’s not doing drugs!”
Chorus
If you don’t want me doing drugs that’s fine by me, but I must push the borders of reality. You may find that zoning out within my room is preferable to stealing bodies from a tomb.
When I duplicate the case of Charles Dexter Ward you’ll ask me why I did it and I’ll say that I was bored. If my new wizard friends should stop by or come to call, you’ll ask how much I’m drinking and I’ll say none at all
