There’s a word, I’m sure you’ve heard it once,
Or twice, before.
The bible mentions it here, or there.
Affection, but we need some correction,
On how much it could mean to us.

So tell it to your brother, maybe to your mother,
Maybe to whoever means the most to you.
Hear it from your sister, let it give you blisters,
Feast your ears and let it choke you up.

It’s love.

And everyone I meet, has something perfectly wrong with them,
But thats okay, makes them more, interesting to talk to.
Attachment, go ahead and catch it,
Let them know how much they mean to you.

Tell it to your neighbor, maybe to those same old friend you,
Haven’t seen in years.
Hear it from your voice, say it til you’re hoarse,
It’s love oh it’s love.
