When the Buddha Mind is awakened
even hard effort changes the worth
we focus on ourselves, this takes a struggle
so, service on behalf of the world

Without practice, No emergence
we cannot understand, even though we know
not effect, won’t cure an illness
just reading a description of medicine

This is fundamental mind of Buddha

that know what is sufficient
as parents love their children
Let’s go awakening the Buddha Mind

Someone leaves shoes in disarray
Let us silently set them to order
such an act, and such an feel will
bring harmony to the mind of people

we practice the Buddha’s path
Not to be rescued ourselves
but for the sake of serving the world, all people
from this vow let’s take the first step

十方三世一切仏
諸尊菩薩摩訶薩
摩訶般若波羅蜜

Is there any greater stupid?
too much devotion to one’s own religion
and slandering other people’s religions
so the result is hatred and strife

In every era, the religion illuminates people
and leads to a peaceful way of life
never draw swords against each other
people of religion should never draw swords

This is fundamental mind of Buddha

thank you for this wonder world
thank you for Nature’s bounty
thankfully accept this gift of nourishment

that know what is sufficient
as parents love their children
Let’s go awakening the Buddha Mind

That which is born will also die,
that which has met will also apart,
what has been taken will be lost,
what has been made will break

we are born and die one time
in this human life how shall we live it ?
is it joyous thing to live long ?
is it sorrowful die after a short ?
