This was an old country style acoustic collaboration back in 2009 with a very talented Lyricist Mellina Barnett from the UK. The 12 string guitar and vocals music done by me. They Lyrics were quiet a tear jerker to do but I got through it!

The curtain swayed in the gentle desert air
She rolled over in bed, felt his warmth wasn’t there
Sat up sleepily and turned on the light
Breathed sharply in, she’d lost all of her fight

Softly in the distance a guitar begins to play
Like a ghost from the past with something to say
Pulling on worn jeans and her lover’s old shirt
She forgot for a moment how much she hurt

She saddled the horse, the one they used to ride
As through the dark he could be her guide
She felt no fear as the guitar strummed the way
Leading them in a trance, she heard a voice say
