Naugatuck

This song is about my Grandparent’s farm that was in West Virginia. The name “Naugatuck” is derived from an Algonquian term meaning “lone tree by the fishing place”. The rich memories I have of the place are from when I was just shy of my sixth birthday. It was a safe haven for their children and grand children to escape to. I shared some of those stories and memories with my friend Carl and he came up with these beautiful lyrics.
