Carl wrote this song somewhere around July of 2020. Back in the 80’s we had a song we wrote/performed called “Louisa”. I don’t know if the subject matter is related. Carl recorded the song with just him and his guitar. I imported into my Tascam recorder and then layered in some bass and guitars. Given the western nature of the song, I couldn’t help thinking of Spaghetti westerns and Ennio Morricone. And it gave me good reason to play my Rickenbacker!
