For my January 2026 REM Drone Orchestra contribution, topic of “reverb and effects”, in the key of G mixolydian pentatonic (G, B, C, D, F), I made a new preset on the Deluge, played it live, and post-processed in Audacity. The preset uses an analog square wave oscillator and a sine-wave oscillator transposed down an octave and with pulse width of 37. It has two voice unison with some detune, both LPF and HPF, EQ, modulation of LPF frequency with LFO2 and mod-FX depth with LFO1, pulse width shaping with envelopes, reverb and delay effects, and stereo chorus mod-FX. I made things a bit richer with LPF and HPF resonance and a saturation of 4. I took the recording and applied compression, EQ, reverb, master, more reverb, limiting, and loudness normalization in Audacity.
