I sampled and chopped to extract some chords from a lovely rearrangement of an anime bgm that Poloma from the REM group made, based on “In The Fall”, from Yuyushiki https://youtu.be/NwvXD9yb558?si=SWC1AwZW0CEm732D

I experimented with a few different acoustic drum kits to make a beat, and I managed to tap into a nice groove with a DX7 preset that I modified a bit. I made it on my Deluge groovebox, and did some slight edits in Audacity.
