Blues for Bob [new vocal]

I wrote the backing track a couple years ago after watching the documentary “It Might Get Loud.” It somehow evolved into a li’l tribute to Bob Dylan (Bob really deserves so much better). The words allude to a number of Dylan’s songs: “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Dear Landlord,” “Tangled Up In Blue,” “Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again,” “Positively 4th Street,” “Maggie’s Farm,” “Ballad of a Thin Man,” “Meet Me in the Morning,” and “Bob Dylan’s Blues.” The Dylan-esque harp was played and recorded by Cyclops Cow.

UPDATE…

Upon the completion of the 2020 RPM Challenge, I was never comfortable with the vocal Perry (or was that Singh? Igor?) did on “Blues for Bob.” One RPM artist that stood out to me this year was RTO because I heard especially strong vocals in a style that I enjoyed hearing. I decided to take a chance and ask if Kyle would do me the favor of cutting a new vocal for me. He agreed and gave me what you hear in this new version. He did a fantastic job and I like it so much better!
