For this I changed my approach to orchestral EDM. This time I first wrote the orchestral part and then tried to transfer that core melody to the EDM Part where I began to iterate with different synth patches. I think this approach makes the track more coherent overall but the EDM Part now lacks a little bit punch - at least for my taste. Feeling a little burned out from the orchestral stuff atm so I guess my next track will be more dark and gritty again :-D
