The older edges seem fine (the 91 Rad has one and its solid) but I've heard a lot of bad press from the 97 ones on - which gels to what I found personally. I will get a Sabre and a Power at some stage cause the 540's are pretty lovely. Finish an inch thick - you can't kill em!
The HM has a real FR - but not the Low Pro which is my personal fave
Big fan of Ibanez over here, but the older ones which are hard to find. They just don't make them like they used to. Ever since they switched over to Edge tremolos, I have been missing Floyd Rose so much. I have one Ibanez with a Floyd Rose bridge and I will have that thing in my will, haha!
I'm an 80's early 90's Washy fan - some of the high end KC's and MG's are real nice and are pretty cheap these days ;) Slap in a SD and you're laughing!

Is the extended family ;-) - Mostly Washburns - tho I have (and lust after another) a '91 540 Radius which is absolutely sweet
What happens when you use a Sustainer on clean sounds...? You end up with a very vocal sound, which when combined with dissonance leads to the choirs of hell......
From the root D, as the picked notes are D, F, G and B....
Sometimes interesting stuff occurs when you just plug in some numbers. For example, I sometimes play around with what I call the Rush Scale where the scale goes
Tone - Semi - Semi - Tone - Semi - Semi - Tone
So you get from C
C - D - D# - E - F# - G - Ab - Bb
Why Rush - well (Tone - semi - semi - tone = 2112) ;-)
Well for a start I cocked up in the description ;-) the clean part is basically
0 5 3 0 0 0
Picked on the A,D,G,B strings. Simple motif, and one thats been bugging me for a while. So its basically on D,F,G,B.... I sometimes tend to think mathematically about riffs and occasionally something unusual comes out of it...
Whats that root, minor third, fourth, sixth? My theory knowledge isn't awesome, I'm ashamed to say ;-)
Thats the plan - once I restring the twelve string. I cheated here and doubled it over the octaves ;-) Plus I've hurt a finger at the nail and the twelve string will murder my hands right now ;-)
Comments on adamrykala's stuff
