Here’s a really annoying techno track I did when I used to go to LANs as a teenager. For those who don’t know, ICQ was a popular IM service back in the late 90’s/early 00’s.
I wrote the original in 2004 as a disgruntled response to people who just wouldn’t turn off the damn annoying sound effects at LAN’s (resulting in an echo of a million “uh-oh’s” that grated like a million crying kindergartners). And then I went to The Party in 2005 where I added some stuff to the song and entered it into the MP3 competition. It won, for some reason.
So, A) is the sparse original. B) is the overly complicated remix.
