In 2013 when Lou Reed died I was working as a music writer for The Scope magazine. I put a call out to all my musician friends around town to offer up Lou Reed/Velvet Underground covers for a tribute album to commemorate Lou’s life and music. Some amazing artists came through and together we created a pretty cool little tribute to Lou. This is our contribution to the album. See the entire album at the link below.
