Under the holographic array, those hibernated experienced one lifetime after another, fueled by the seeds of the Root Dream. The Root Dream danced with their own memories from a dead planet, and spawned a plethora of evolving child dreams. Each simulated existence left the Hibernators a bit wiser, preparing them for the day infinitely far away, where they would awake.
