T&T II (Drink and Be Merry) b
from the symphonic poem “Trials & Tribulations”
featuring Heppie Curtis on vocals
it’s Monday Monday Monday evening,
and yet we’re going out to drink
cause life is way too short to sit
around and watch the earth just spin
and change is always always better
than all the other other options
we sing and dance and make our way
through whatever life may throw our way
drink and drink away what sorrow
sometimes think we’re missing something
but it’s too hard to concentrate
on anything but where we’re going
to the stars and maybe farther, distance worlds and mysteries
and never sleep just wondering, if this how it’s always gonna
be so good, just like you knew it would
be so good, just like you know it should
never say life passed you by
you’ve only got one chance to get it right
it’s Sunday Sunday Sunday morning,
the sun is slowly waking up
and all is right in the universe, you are right here next to me
there’s an adventure calling us, way out beyond the new horizon
nore more fears or wonderings,
cause this is how it’s always gonna
be so good, just like you knew it would
be so good, just like you know it should
never let life pass you by
never let life pass you by
never let life pass you by
never say life passed you by
you’ve only got one chance to get it right
Wonderful Heppie Curtis. I have fabulous memories of this track - a poignant performance.
