We were an 80s-era Sacramento New Wave/Art Rock band which played Spanky’s and Club Can’t Tell with regularity. Once we were part of the line-up for an all-day show at the outdoor stage at William Land Park. Man, it was hot that day. I couldn’t read my patch numbers due to bright sunlight, Gabe burned his bare feet on the stage, and Jay broke a string. It was fun. Once we almost played a club in South Sac called The Beat (not affiliated with the record store), but massive gear failure prevented it from proceeding. Of course, that was the one time my friends & family had come out to see us!
