Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is a short musical narrative telling the story of a boy, unhappy with his hard scrabble life, who runs away and joins up with a pirate crew – only to find that it’s not exactly what he dreamed it would be.

Part 2, catches up with the boy, now a man, several years later. He now knows he traded one hard life for another. On the run with their treasure, ego and pride overrule sense when the Captain order the crew to cut threw the waters known as The Devil’s Deep. It’s a mistake they all soon regret.

Part 3, back at home. The boy now an old man finds himself back where he started. He looks back over his life and wonders what might have been…
