Nerd Crush is the title of a book I saw left behind at a coffee shop in my neighborhood. I thought my tween child might be interested in discarded book. She said nah dad I’m good. The melody came to me in a parking lot for work. This was Jan 21. My friend does the RPM Challenge every year where you make a record in the shortest month - February. I used Nerd Crush as a lightning rod for me to finally release my own music for real (I’ve released tons of music with bands and some I wrote for sync and licensing).
