Incorporating some Kaossilator app beats

I dug out my old alto recorder several years back and got thinking if I could just learn to play a simple phrase or two on it, I could incorporate it into a song. It was a nice idea, but in practice I did better at digitally editing a take together…

Recorded with my friend Darren Tipper, who lives in England and bounced this back and forth with me for awhile last year via the BandLab mobile app. I did the drum loop, lap steel, bass, banjo and vocal. Darren did the mandolin and organ.
