Thanks for the kind words! We just went for it this RPM. We had a great band and some songs/arrangements and just trusted the the lyrics would come when they were needed.
And in the night so long Evade a massing throng Aided by a song Much Music
preserve your paltry mint down an alley you sprint do leave a clue or hint Much Music
and your hasty flight leads toward cathedral light stained glass so bright Much Music
and the choir there in harmony so fair creates celestial air Much Music
What could have happened if Merle played with Mingus? Or Johnny with Miles or Ray with Coltrane? Or Eric Dolphy with Jerry Garcia? Keeping their Betes in check with Richard Davis on the bass
I like to day dream on that music and try to hear what I can see
I’m been dreaming of Monk-Like country
Country with monk
and Charlie rouse on the sax and Larry gales on the bass
Some kind of country from the spirit world country
“Now that’s what I call Monk-like country volume 72
Like a bolt of light
In the dead of night
Without a band in site
Much music
When I’m alone
Where ever I may roam
So very far from home
Much Music
When the Kafka day
Becomes a Mamet Play
In every single way
Much Music
How reality melts
alphabits have spell’t
Every thing your ever felt
Much Music
And in the night so long
Evade a messing throng
Aided by a song
Much Music
**Song-writing Demo for FAWM 2022**
Song number 1
Written Sunday 6th February 2022

OK, this is a bit of a departure for me - posting songwriting demos.
This is a one mic recording made this morning in the living room, touch of reverbs…
This is kick-ass! You have a great voice and I love your guitar playing. When you have great ingredients like that, you don’t need much more than good material, of which there is plenty here! I am very inspired listening to this. I appreciate you sharing it and I look forward to delving deeper -bjk
Andrew:
I am working on the lyrics and tightening up a few things. I am saving vocals for last for all of these tracks. Obviously, this one could use a bunch of lyrics. I was going for a very loose, spacey jam... I wanted it to feel like the drummer was trying to find it. I appreciate your notes and the Electric Ladyland reference is very kind! I look forward to figuring out the lyrics to this one.
I appreciate your kind words tremendously, this is a special one. There should be a space between "Signs" and this and I appreciate you spotting that for me. I will add some space at the end of signs... what is another :23 on a 13-minute song?
Andrew,
Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate you listening and I will return the favor with yours. Should I give "FAWM 2022 Song-writing Demos" a spin?
Thanks: I needed something long to put a spoken word-ish thing over. Definitely was fun to record. Now I am working on the lyrics. I appreciate your kind words!

Loving the double vocal that one nice deep voice you have works a treat
Now that’s a Tod tapper hopefully not on the accelerator
Wanton domesticity starts to crack :) This is cool.
Thanks, Gumbo! That means a lot coming from a writer and performer of your caliber!

That's a groove
Add a de esser to vocal
First solos up
Kick down Vocals down
Take the vocals down 2db
Beautiful sound you all make! Robby A
Love this - getting strong Camper Van Beethoven vibes from the lyrics (particularly the verses).

You knew me when You know me now And I can change You know me know And there’s still a lot of work to do
