Welcome Home

I was sitting at an open jam when a guy approached me and said he liked my playing. He then began telling me about the nightmare he went through as a soldier in Iraq. He then said no one understands him or can connect with him. He feels like he lives in another world. He was full of anger and sorrow. I wrote this song for our soldiers as they struggle to readjust to civilian life.
