You Were In My Dream
You were in my dream the other night
We talked for a while
We fell in love
Then I got bored, and left the house
Then I came back, and you were out
Things were rocky from that day
We didn’t talk to each other so much
I felt so bad for having this dream
About a girl I didn’t know I love
How do you move on from that
At some point we were walking through
A dried-up reservoir, the sky was
A foggy greenish-gray, I was just
Happy you were talking to me
I think we met up with other people
I don’t remember who, but we knew them
So we hung out while the fog was clearing
My thoughts were fading, my life was perfect
How do you move on from that
And when the sun came out
I could see every planet in the sky
Then some asteroids hit the Earth
And probably killed us
Falling through the air till it melts our skin off
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
You were in my dream the other night
I was in a room with a big window
Looking out in space at the galaxies
I was really cold, but still amazed
And I knew you were out there somewhere
Looking for another person
But you were so far, I couldn’t find you
And then I woke up, and I knew you were gone
How do you move on from that
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
At least we’re home now
At least we’re home
