This is an improvised ‘piece’. We did quite a bit of improvising, taping the sessions, then sitting in the bedroom listening to the tapes and talking about what we liked, then next time everyone would come with ideas and we would work on things that came out of improvisation or that we came up with individually in the meantime. It was a very collaborative atmosphere. This particular song was pretty much fooling around but I actually remember it well, and I think it’s quite nice. This copy fades out before some of the finer guitar moments but what the heck. Brilliant, IMO, drumming. Stylistically different from our ‘usual’ if there ever was a usual.

At one point we auditioned singers (very humorous endeavor overall - stories for another time “I will command your audience’s attention” …) and didn’t wind up selecting anyone, but towards the end our friend Jonathan who is an amazing musician/composer came to sing with us for one session - he is laid back and confident and came up with so many different styles. This may have influenced this particular song.

I don’t know where Jonathan is now.
