Jesse James w/son/grandson
JESSE JAMES performed by the late Danville Dan (Frank Koehl) (rhythm guitar, main vocals) and also posthumously featuring his son, Gene Eric Mann (Rick Koehl)(chorus vocals) and his grandson, Robster the Rock Lobster (Robert W.D. Koehl)(chorus vocals, stand-up bass), plus harmonizing background chorus vocals by Tiffany Johnson.
ROBSTER -- thanks so much for adding your voice and stand-up bass to this recording. It means a lot to me. While Dad was alive I picked a lot with him, and I've picked a lot with you son, but I don't recall the three of us ever playing together, but now we have this. Too groovy!
Really cool! What a wonderful thing to have your 3 generations singing together!!!
This song was recorded by my father, Danville Dan the Singing Hobo. I and my son were posthumously added to the original. Even if you already heard it, come by and give this 3 generation number another listen. It was reprocessed today for more reverb and stereo effect.
Even if you already listen, come by and give this 3 generation number another ear. I just reprocessed the track for more stereo effect and reverb.
WOW!!! I am sincerely speechless. I knew this was coming and still I'm completely taken back by the history here. Honored and proud to have had a small role in 3 generations being represented. I don't see topping this on the context of historical relevance.
