This song was another SD Compo entry of mine, specifically from round 87 back in 2014. This rendering features a number of tweaks to fix the mix, like adjusting levels, EQ, compression, and adding some spectral processing to smooth out what was originally a mix that was both muddy and shrill…yeah, somehow I managed to pull that off.

The big change is bringing the melody parts up in the mix and making more room for them to stand out.

As before, this song is still dedicated to a good friend of mine from high school days, who celebrates her birthday on October 31st. Best wishes, Aimee :)
