Sleepless in Dresden is a long, peaceful and very, very relaxing track inspired by the Aria part of J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. The legend has it that Bach composed the variations to Count Keiserling, the former ambassador of Saxony in Russia, who suffered from insomnia and thereby ordered from Bach some peaceful clavier pieces to be played in nighttime by his private musician, Johann Gottleib Goldberg.
