Steppe tells an atmospheric story of the boundless plains of the steppes, reflecting Lena’s personal memories from the time she lived in the Russian part of Kazakh Steppe as a young music teacher. From album ‘Songs of Vastness’ (mt027).
I checked this out simply because of the name. I released a song called steppes with my other band This Caustic Autumn, based on dwelling in the boundless widths of isolation, I guess. haha. It's not nearly as beautiful as this is though. This is really really nice stuff.
