Busted out this tasty delight overnight with my good buddy Timmy D! Oh we had a good time. We worked on the instrumentation from 6 PM to 2 AM, woke up at 7AM and recorded vocals until Tim had to leave at 10AM. It was a great jam night.

I recorded this back in February for the RPM... then I got all distracted by non-discontent and work. I finally decided to go ahead and just abandon the album - but here is the one decent track I made :) Light a Fire ============ everyday…

Barbara wrote this about a friend from Portland. It became her most requested song until she wrote North Sulfur River. But, then it was her only other song. (c) 1990 Royal T Music

If names really meant anything, my name would be James Michael Singer. Or maybe James Michael “Show and Tell.” I was a sophomore in high school when Buddy Holly died. He and the Everly Brothers were the first music on the radio that sang My Music. THEN, The Kingston Trio sang Tom Dooley and I headed off to college with my banjo and it was hootenanny time. THEN, Dylan sang BLOWING IN THE WING and turned all of us folk singers into song writers. 1,000 songs later I’m on the verge of eighty years on this earth and music has been the wind I have ridden and the thread that has held it all together for me. Funny, I end up back in Oklahoma. It was off to college from the San Joaquin Valley of California to Oklahoma City in 1961 where I spent 2 years mostly singing and playing in trios and duos if I remember right. School never interfered with the music. Meanwhile 25 years a stage hand on everything from Hank Jr. to Pink Floyd but never interfering with my own concerts and movies and raising a tote bag of kids. You’ll just have to come out Friday night if you want to know more… Talk to me…pyropool@earthlink.net https://www.facebook.com/jamesmichael.taylor.39
