Drew Fitts aka “Dru Fittz “ was born August 10, 1988, in Memphis, Tennessee. He grew up in Orange Mound then moved to East Memphis where he graduated from White Station High. Growing up as an athlete, he always had the dedication and determination to learn and grow in everything he was interested in. Music worked its way into his life early. His parents introduced him to rock, other genres early. He was mainly interested in hip hop music. Drew began to look for ways to combine various styles of music to create a new independent sound. Drew’s music was influenced early on by artists such as; Tupac, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dog, and NWA. As time progressed his primary influences were; Eminem, Linkin Park, Jay Z, Ludacris, and T.I. There were also influences from different genres consisting of rock, pop, alternative, and crossover styles. Dru found that music would give him and avenue to escape the pressures of the real world to a world of his own through music.
