Unprepared in life a fragile girl still so young
Sent out into the world on her own so vulnerable, so unsure
Figuring out a life so cruel she struggles, left to find her own way
From the webs of unfiltered anger and sordidness

All alone with no one for comfort or emotional solidity
Over sensitivity renders her saddened, confused and alone
Coping turns to difficulty and impossibility
As she begins fading from life into a shell

A flurry of depression and medicinal furor
The years pass as she tries to claw her way free
To happiness that eludes, and in the end leads her
Back to reality to unravel and solve past regret

Transcend me please; take away these clouds of gray”
