Just goofing around with effects chains, like taking a Pink Noise Generator, running it through a low-pass filter, and running the output through multiple phaser, tremelo, & panning effects, or taking a random series of DTMF tones and running it through an octave down, a reverse echo and an auto panner, and running audio drop-ins from various movies through various effects to make them sound different.
