The song is supposed to be one of those “Saturday Morning Hits”, which goes back to when I was a kid watching Top of The Pops in ’72-’74 with my older sister in the UK. You would see all these bands playing their hit on TV, with all these kids dancing, singing along, having a good time. So, I wanted this song to sound like a good time. I did opt out of the plaid; though maybe I could channel my inner Noddy Holder just once. That guy was awesome.
