Kate Wolf and I had a lot of history with “Amazing Grace”. First song we sang together five minutes after we met in her home and the first time she’d sang with anybody since high school. We sang it every time we played for people. We sang it once to save a life. I sang it to close the first Kate Wolf Festival. I think she wanted me to. I consider it an anthem of instant enlightenment. “…I once was lost, but now am found, I was blind but now I see…”
