Someone requested this song in a comment. Took me awhile to find it. I wrote it 25-years ago as a tribute to a lady called Suzie Q. In the 1990s Texas bikers were heavily involved in the political process to change regulations and laws. I would sometimes take my guitar to our rallies. Suzie Q was a young woman rider who enjoyed my songs. I didn’t know her well, but I remember she helped work the legislative process at the capital in Austin. She was killed while riding her motorcycle. It was a shock and great loss to our community.
