Firefly
Flight flickers living light
through a translucent night
where the sky is unowned
by anything of flesh and bone
this Planet is punctured by lines
that define
what is yours? what is mine?
I remember a time, when fireflies would cover us
in living iridescence, we’d lay
I remember a time, when fireflies would cover us
in living iridescence, we’d lay
I against this fractalled world
with hate among each other
and this sound conceives no meaning
of the unfamiliar
land of the free you’ve planted in me
poison ivy
the disillusioned vines of our time
I remember a time
when fireflies would cover us
in living iridescence we’d lay
I remember a time
when fireflies would cover us
in living iridescence we’d lay
"I dream of Orca whales / 'n Owls / but I wake up in Fear," "...You will never be mine / YEW will never Be Mine / YEW WHEEL NEVER BE MY DEER"
