GRAMMA'S SHAMPOO 121511 - HOLDINGS OF THE HEART
James Michael Taylor
Gramma’s Shampoo
Gramma’s shampoo is washing my hair
And I hope it will notice that gramma’s not there
It’s the kind that knows just what to do
Says it right there on the bottle, shampoo
“Automatically adjusts to your hair’s cleansing needs
How does it do that? Shampoo
Gramma’s shampoo is washing my hair
And I hope it remembers, gramma’s not there
Kathy got the washer. Silky got the dryer
Joel got the canoe
River got the shot gun. Toy got the rifle
…and he got the arrow heads too
All the boxes stacked out in the garage
Nobody wants to go thru
Gramma’s shampoo is washing my hair
And I hope it will notice, gramma’s not there…

HOLDINGS OF THE HEART was a movie being shot in East Dallas back in the 90s. I think Peggy and I did location sound on it.
Tim Tandy Regarding that hair, I seem to recall a song where you're washing your hair with Mother's shampoo! Tim Tandy I stand corrected, it's Gramma. Great song! Marian Brackney - My Favorite! James Michael Taylor - MY FAVORITE was when you played violin with me.
This little miracle is a performance art piece, in addition to being a song track on an album. I can see this as an interlude in a dramatic stage play. Highly creative and outside the box here. And those harmonies are so tight you couldn't get a sliver between them! Amazling!
I like this song!!
