Can I Vote (piece for 2 violins and synth tones)

Initially inspired by a tape manipulation Pure Data patch I found (http://www.katjaas.nl/pitchshift/pitchshift.html) and built then varied. I captures audio input and allows for manipulation. I played two unamp’d violin passages, twisted to make one a beat and the other kept sounding like a voice saying ‘can I vote’. I added 5 oscillators set with slow attack long decay envelopes and mixed the piece live to recording.
