All The More Grace

During a practice on Wednesday, our church’s Bluegrass Gospel band suggested I bring one of my original songs on Sunday morning and teach it to them for that day’s worship service. So I decided to write a song based on this week’s lectionary. So here it is, based on James 3 and 4
“All The More Grace”
Who is wise and understanding
Don’t you know what Love demands
of you
Don’t be blinded by ambition
Gentleness is born of Wisdom
and Truth
This old world can be overwhelming
There’s a war within
Don’t you buy what they’ve been selling
God will give you what you need to wi-in
All the more Grace
All the more Peace
All the more Strength to
See you through
All the more Joy
All the more Love
All the more Mercy
He will give to you
Grace is given to the humble
Pray for guidance as we stumble
through
Reach for Wisdom without fear
God will listen and draw near
to you
