I wrote this for Amy to sing at a benefit concert for a church member. It’s bascially about how the music of angels (Earthly and Heavenly)helps us through this difficult journey. There are a few bumps on this one, since she had to learn it in a couple of days. Hopefully, the Spirit comes through anyway. Aloha!

Dancing in the rain alone
I strain to hear a healing song
With teardrops falling to my feet
I will listen for Love’s heartbeat
I’ll fly away on angel wings
When I hear the angels sing

Stranded on an island of fear
The ocean’s rage is all you hear
Surrounded by the roar and the din
Listen for His quiet voice within

Lost in the shadows of endless night
We search for a sign, we wait for the light
When dark clouds hide the moon and the stars
We will listen with our hearts
