A ritual so ancient, none can vanquish. Have all the power in the world, but cower as time prevails her ascent.

So terrifying an aphrodisiac, one I had never hoped for, always fleeing from. A cure that will never fulfill, a wound that could never forget.

My conscience besieged me; it had long sunk back in the shadows, while I enjoyed the temporary comforts and the fake sympathies. I am reminded.
