Last-minute electronic doodad I threw together with three instruments from the free Tyrell N6 synth plugin. I mostly just wanted to try to maintain momentum from February's RPM Challenge and walk through the REM completion process.

Dan improvised on guitar over some synth and drum MIDI loops Kevin had pulled from a collection he'd bought the previous day. Quick, easy, and fun way to spend a few minutes at the studio. :)

Messing around with electronic doodads - tape loop, drum machine, looper pedal, other effects pedals, and then DAW plugins on the drums. Edited about 5 minutes of noise down to about 2:45.

Stiff, awkward live drums with an unrelated guitar part pasted over them.

Set the parametric drum plugin to "all fills/solos" and pasted an unrelated bass part over it. ("Xenochrony" is a Zappa-ism.)
