Another studio casserole covering the last night of the trip. Everything that happened over the trip is jumbled together with the excitement of getting back home. Gotta check out of the hotel that was home for all those days, then turn in the rental car, making sure not to forget anything, then check into the airport hotel (because we’re clever), unpack just enough for tomorrow, then repack, and then try to fall asleep in a new room, wondering over and over and over how much longer until the alarm goes off, and speaking of which make sure the alarm is set and the phone’s charged, and don’t forget the charger in the morning, and the alarm will be much earlier than it has been, because the flight leaves early, and we have to build in time for the airport shuttle, then baggage check, then security.

Four snores, then the alarm goes off.
