Loblolly (Ugly-Ass Pine Trees of Home)

The phrase “Ugly Ass Pine Trees of Home” had been stuck in my head for at least 5 years. Glad to finally get the words down.

Tried numerous takes “singing” this one, but the recitation works much better than any of them. (Note that “better” does not mean “good”…)

Glad to have an excuse to dust off my upright bass and mandolin.
