This is the original version, the light to the dark of the other. The Max Ulis version ended up on my album, he did such a good job I couldn't pass it up.

I came up with the initial rhythmic riff on my bass, then looped it to create the basis for this track. Then, I layered another "lead" bass track on top of that, added some percussion, and finally topped it off with an electric piano-ish sound…

A great remix done by Vancouver artist Calamalka. He shines a light on it from a totally different angle, and captures it with his own style.

A fun hip hop based track, one of the first tracks I ever did. The inspiration comes from Della Reese in Harlem Nights, when she fights Eddie Murphy. Classic.
