A Sacrament to visions of sorrow and seasons of remorse
Butterflies disturb the light with dance
Flowers sway and gently bend
Beckoning with soul the wind
Life brings another chance
Beautiful divine happenstance

Everything is alright
Your heart beats in the morning light

Memories flutter wild and sting but sometimes draw a smile
Mocking birds distract from a penance if only for a while
Coffee brews somewhere far away
An echo of a gentle whine
Lingers ever on my mind
Life brings another day
I think I’ll stay
