This was going to be a standard "she's left me" song, but I took it to a dark place.

I recorded this in 1 hour to test out my new recording setup (a 6 year old computer).

I wrote this song between the mid 90's and early 2000's. It took me a while to really perfect the lyrics. My lyric writing was pretty bad pre-1997 so luckily I kept working on it. Lyrics were inspired by a camping trip.

This is about my life journey so far.

I thought so little of this song at first I filed it away in a folder on my hard disk called "nogood". About a year later I listened to it again and changed my mind.

This is the follow up to 40, which I wrote 10 years go. Every decade that goes by I will write another song.
